This is what one Wise Man said yesterday.
“Don’t worry about the crowds of people that never notice that there’s a real person behind your face, focus on finding and getting to know the people who see you for who you are.”- Samuel Peck
Enlightenment, truth, and depth all combined.

I want and need a new laptop. My current computer was good for the two previous owners before me, and I guess it was good for the first month that I had it. But after a certain computer “doctor” diagnosed and fixed my computer, it has never been the same. It’s definatly not his fault…It’s the fault that it is a COMPAQ. Never, ever, ever buy a Compaq. Promise me that you will never buy one? Not only do they have horrible costumer service (which I could write and talk for hours about my experiences…of seeing others work) but they are crap. Complete grabage!
*Breathing deeply. Exhaling. Calms and relaxes the body*
Now I’m debating on what my new computer should be. My options are narrowed down to Sony or Toshiba. From what I’ve seen, both are pretty good, sturdy and long lasting, and good costumer service(which is always a good thing). My only qualm with Sony is that the price is so high, just because of the name.
But I’ve also been thinking about branching out and getting an Apple or a comp with a Linux system. The only hinderances are the price and the fact that Family software, and most software in general, isn’t compatible with them. But it would be so cool to have an Apple in my opinion. It would be Retro and different. Heh, oh well.
So the debate is waging. May the best brand win.
Duke lost! I had another one of those “feelings” all day today. It’s horrible. This six sense stuff is not cool. It’s bad.
This thought hit me today. Coach K. always picks the same kind of people for his team. Awesome shooters, semi good defensive players, and because of those qualities are hyped to the max. No, seriously…not that it’s a bad thing, because someday the combination will work again, just like it did in 2000 and 92.
Take Mike Dunleavy and JJ Redick. Both were/are awesome shooters, both could play defense to a degree, both were hyped beyond their means. And when it was time for them to show there stuff, carry the team to the finals…they both lose in the Sweet Sixteen.
The funny thing is…Redick is probably going to get a high draft pick, just like Dunleavy. Unless, the NBA teams get smart and realize that Redick is just hype, puffed air, and is just another Mike Dunleavy Jr.
Disclaimer: I’m just mad. Extremly mad. I still have some love for Redick….deep down, buried under boulders that are under a 50 foot ocean, smothered in seaweed. And there will be a next year for Duke. There is always a next year.
…Only thing is I’ve been telling myself that for the last 5 years.
This is disgusting. Adam Vinatieri, a former sickening Patriot, is now on one of my favorite teams, the Colts. Do you realize how horrible this is? How am I supposed to now accept my enemy as a friend? It’s like accepting Judas into your gang after he just screwed over his former pack. How do you know he won’t do it again? …and to you this time?
In all respects he is a great kicker. He has completely ruined not one but two Superbowls for me. Okay so he really only ruined one, the Rams greatness. The Eagles one was a dead give away that the Pats would win. But He single handily killed the Rams. He killed them. Murdered. Gone…no more. No more Ramy. Capoot.
Because of him my hatred for the Patriots thrived and….without him it will continue to burn until Mr. Cocky Brady departs.
The true test of acceptance will be win the Colts play the Pats next season. Will he miss the field goal or will he make it? If he makes it…maybe he can officially join my pack.
Must I forgive my Enemy?
Wow. My 16th year is coming to a close. 21 more days of this and then…a new morning will come, and with that morning…nothing different. Really 16, 17 what’s the difference? Nothing. Just a name. What is in a name? Heh…alot. When you hear Veronica Love or Veronica Smith…there is a definatly difference in the mental pictures that come to mind.
So I guess there is a difference. I mean I will be one year closer to 18. One year closer to full responsibilties. One year closer to shaking off the “minor”. One year closer to being able to vote…and oh how I’ve been waiting for that. One year closer to…gosh everything.
May the 21 days past eventfully. 3 weeks…and you can all wish me a Happy Birthday.
Happy belated St. Patricks Day. I hope you all respected the great Irish Day and wore something green, because I did. Sadly Notre Dame didn’t make it to the NCAA tourney, but so far so good for Duke. Sweet Sixteen and counting.
I’ve been taking alot of flack for liking Duke. Well not really flack…but it’s been a great teasing point for many people. But it’s all good, and I still love them. I hope they still love me…well they better cuz they have to, for I am Love.
After much difficulty, and the continual technical problems that my blog is facing, I am attempting to make my first post. So here it be.
The biggest thing to hit my news stand in the last week has been…guess…please guess? Okay, okay, so you can’t, awww…come on you have to guess. Okay I’ll tell you. Duke won the ACC tournament(16th time too). Notice the coincidence, I’m 16, they have 16 titles…get it. heh. Round one of March Maddness begins tomorrow. May the Force be with Duke. I really hope they can win the NCAA title this year. Imagine how cool that would be. Swell and popping would be the best way to describe it. Pure happiness. Millions of Snickers couldn’t replace my joy. Not even thousands of Mountain Dews could compare to them winning it all.(which for me Mountain Dew is like most peoples coffee…my lifeblood) Just so you all know I rarely partake of those two special blessings for two reasons: money and lack of stores. Forget health…but I did consider acne.
Within the next week or so my blog should progress to near finish. Super Sam and I have thought up a cool theme. We just have to layout and upload it and then…you shall have the new and improved…ME.
I got my .com today. It’s apuddleofmud.com. I’m so happy! I have a partial idea for the layout, but it’s not complete. Again if anyone has any cool ideas please tell me. I need input.
And now I leave you with this quote by William Jennings Byran “you shall not press down upon the brow of labor this crown of thorns. You shall not crucify mankind upon a cross of gold.”
