I’m getting inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, the National Honors Society for English Majors in February.

Another goal has been crossed off the list.

I’m so excited.

They put those mascot-less Jets back in their places!

Money is what I’m looking forward to.

Yesterday I was left two voice messages offering interviews for today. One I got during my last class, the other while I was shopping for clothes to wear to the first interview.

I’m really crossing my fingers for the second job, Ross. The first is a Bank Collections department. Of course the bank would pay more, but Ross would be so cool…and discounts! I’ll find out early next week the outcome. Cross your fingers with me!

I pretty much hate my spanish teacher. He acts like HE is our only class and assigns homework that way, when in fact he is one out of the six that I am taking. 2/3rds of the class is only taking his class because we are required to, not that learning spanish is bad but I would rather put my time, money, and credit hours to something else. For instance, we are in his class 3 hours per week, yet he assigns a test that can only be accessed Saturday at 4pm to Sunday at 11pm.

Really? A test during my weekend, and the third weekend of the semester?

Lame.

In other news: This week during Bio lab, I got to play around with sheep brains. It was disgusting but fun. And in a few weeks we move on to dissecting pigs and watching fruit flies get drunk and testing their alcohol tolerance.

Half of my blog links are dead.

When I actually feel like blogging again, blogging has gone out of style.

Lame.

But I’m not going to let that stop me.

Exciting changes are in the works. I’m extremely happy!!! I’m off campus and home at my aunts for a bit, but I’m in the works of looking for an apartment. NO MORE ROOMMATES that I do not know or like. I’m in control and I get to choose now. And I like who I chose.

Now to find an apartment. Did you know that utilities are expensive?!? There’s all sorts of hidden costs besides rent? There’s deposits and processing fees? There’s even utility company down payments? There’s location and layout to worry about too. It’s mind blowing.

But the outcome will be wonderful. Just got to hang in there and look forward to the outcome.
